**Examples**

Record a bug found while working, body from a file.

```sh
kindgi feedback write --kind=bug --title="Run list ignores --limit" --severity=high --body=@notes.md
```

Record friction from a coding agent, body piped in.

```sh
kindgi feedback write --kind=friction --title="Unclear error on missing key" --authored-by=claude-code --body-stdin
```

### `kindgi feedback submit`

**Synopsis**

```sh signature
kindgi feedback submit [<id|hash>...] [--preview] [--yes=<digest>] [--path=<pack-dir>] [--access-url=<origin>]
```

Send FEEDBACK.md's entries to Kindgi, redacted, exactly as previewed: those named, or every one not sent yet and not fixed. A coding agent previews, shows the person, and sends only after they say yes. KINDGI_FEEDBACK_SUBMIT=off turns it off.

**Options**

| Option                 | Default                                                        | Description                                                                                                               |
| ---------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `--access-url <value>` | `https://access.kindgi.com`                                    | Another instance of the intake (default [https://access.kindgi.com](https://access.kindgi.com/)).                         |
| `--path <value>` | the current directory | The pack root, where `FEEDBACK.md` is. Default: the current directory. |
| `--preview` | off | Print exactly what would be sent, after redaction, with its digest. Sends nothing. |
| `--yes <value>` | none: at a terminal it asks; with no terminal, nothing is sent | The preview's digest: sends the report only if it's still exactly what the person saw. Needed with no terminal to ask on. |

Every command also takes the [global flags](https://docs.kindgi.com/v0.1.10/reference/cli.md#global-flags).

**Examples**

Print exactly what would be sent, after redaction, with its digest. Nothing is sent.

```sh
kindgi feedback submit --preview
```

After the person says yes to that preview, send exactly it.

```sh
kindgi feedback submit --yes=<digest>
```

Preview one entry by its id, to send it (again) on its own.

```sh
kindgi feedback submit 2026-10-15.1 --preview
```

From [Send us feedback](https://docs.kindgi.com/v0.1.10/start/send-feedback.md):

```sh
pnpm exec kindgi feedback submit --preview
pnpm exec kindgi feedback submit --yes=<digest>
```

### `kindgi feedback status`

**Synopsis**

```sh signature
kindgi feedback status [<id|hash|reportId>...] [--path=<pack-dir>] [--access-url=<origin>]
```

Ask Kindgi what became of the reports sent: received, known (with its issue), fixed (with the version), won't fix (with why), or withdrawn. Asks about each at most once a day unless named, and marks fixed ones in FEEDBACK.md.

**Options**

| Option                 | Default                     | Description                                                                                       |
| ---------------------- | --------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `--access-url <value>` | `https://access.kindgi.com` | Another instance of the intake (default [https://access.kindgi.com](https://access.kindgi.com/)). |
| `--path <value>` | the current directory | The pack root, where `FEEDBACK.md` is. Default: the current directory. |

Every command also takes the [global flags](https://docs.kindgi.com/v0.1.10/reference/cli.md#global-flags).

**Examples**

Ask what became of the reports sent: at most once a day each.

```sh
kindgi feedback status
```

Ask about one now, by its entry's id or its report id.

```sh
kindgi feedback status 2026-10-15.1
```

From [Send us feedback](https://docs.kindgi.com/v0.1.10/start/send-feedback.md):

```sh
pnpm exec kindgi feedback status
```

### `kindgi feedback withdraw`

**Synopsis**

```sh signature
kindgi feedback withdraw <id|hash|reportId>... [--path=<pack-dir>] [--access-url=<origin>]
```

Take reports back: Kindgi's intake clears their text at once. Needs the keys kept on the machine that sent them.

**Options**

| Option                 | Default                     | Description                                                                                       |
| ---------------------- | --------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `--access-url <value>` | `https://access.kindgi.com` | Another instance of the intake (default [https://access.kindgi.com](https://access.kindgi.com/)). |
| `--path <value>` | the current directory | The pack root, where `FEEDBACK.md` is. Default: the current directory. |

Every command also takes the [global flags](https://docs.kindgi.com/v0.1.10/reference/cli.md#global-flags).

**Examples**

Take a report back: the intake clears its text at once.

```sh
kindgi feedback withdraw 2026-10-15.1
```

From [Send us feedback](https://docs.kindgi.com/v0.1.10/start/send-feedback.md):

```sh
pnpm exec kindgi feedback withdraw 2026-10-15.1
